Christmas Freebie!
I'm a little embarrassed that I'm so behind on blog posting (and just updating my website in general). It's been a busy year. And for that I'm thankful. I always get a little giddy (and panicked) this tiime of year. Not only do I love gift giving I love decorating for the holidays, making handmade gifts, gift wrapping...I basically make it all more complicated than it needs to be, but my heart is full and happy.
I also find myself reflecting on all the things I intended to do/try during the year. So, on top of my own little Santa's workshop, I create a year end to-do-list that there's no way I can accomplish. Inevitably, I find myself running around like a mad woman for the whole month of December.
Over the past few months I've been working on embracing what lead me to this career – my love of art and handmade creations. I'm excited to be taking an online Calligraphy course in February. You can learn more about the course here: www.moderncalligraphysummit.com. I just placed my supply order and I'm super excited for them to arrive! In the meantime I have been practicing with a cheap calligraphy pen! I'm thrilled to learn more about this medium and hope to offer custom invitations, stationery and prints in addition to my commerical design services very soon!
I created these little gift cards – a combo of my hand-lettering and some design elements. I hope you'll put them to good use and share my love of giving, creating and trying something new by year's end!

Happiest of Holidays to you and yours!
